Balens 8th CPD Conference
Mental and Emotional Health and Wellbeing Perspectives
The Focus of our CPD Event this year is around Mental and Emotional health. Helping your clients who may be suffering from mental health conditions, emotional problems and also, importantly, looking after you as a therapist. We have some truly inspirational speakers again this year, including our key note speakers presenting in the morning:

Dr Rosy Daniel – ‘Mapping the Mental Health Territory’ BSc MBBCh Health Creation Consultant. Dr Rosy Daniel will map the mental illness territory for us, explaining the key symptoms of the major mental illness and the range of needs people have in body, mind and spirit when experiencing them
They are joined by:
Hannah Volpe – ‘The Legal Bit: Vulnerable Patients, Consent and Psychiatric Injuries’ Partner at DAC Beachcroft LLP. Hannah Volpe will talk about legal responsibilities when treating vulnerable clients, including the taking of appropriate explicit or implied consent to treatment and looks at examples of cases involving claims for psychiatric injury
